CONNECTICUT BOBOLINK AND WILDLIFE FESTIVAL
JULY 12-13, 2025 - FREE

The free Connecticut Bobolink and Wildlife Festival in Durham is made possible with grants from the Hartford Audubon Society and Connecticut Ornithological Society with a partnership with Durham Public Library.

 The Connecticut Bobolink and Wildlife Festival in Durham begins on Saturday July 12, 2025 with a morning bird/nature walk at Frederick White Farm, then presentations, workshops and socializing at the Durham Community Center. Light lunch will be available. Ending with an afternoon walk to count the Bobolinks.

Youth activities are planned for Sunday July 13 at Allyn Brook Park pavilion 
from 1 - 4 PM for students grade 5 and up.

Memorial Day Parade
The 2025 Durham Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 26th. The parade will step off at 9:15 a.m., at the corner of Haddam Quarter Road and Main Street and then continue down Main Street to the Town Green. 
 
Parade participants should assemble at the corner between 8:15 a.m., and 8:30 a.m. The parade will take place rain or shine.

Immediately following the parade there will be a ceremony at the Town Green to honor our nations servicemen and servicewomen who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom
